Food and Coffee Trail |
|
West Wimmera Shire has gained an excellent reputation for the horticultural products grown, produced and value added to which increases the great experience of good food and great coffee. This “Trail” gives you the opportunity to discover different brands of fresh coffee from freshly ground beans, farm gate sales of foods, award winning foods (both national and international awards), country hospitality, wetlands and deserts and diversity of landscape, land use and food products. Broad acre cropping, horticultural crops grown either under irrigation or in large hothouses, organic foods and excellent quality of meat production. We are the “balanced food bowl” of Victoria from entree to dessert with a small amount of wine for after dinner conversation. A number of these food producers attend the Farmers Markets both in Victoria and also South Australia. The cafes, hotels and take away venues are listed so you will always have opportunity for food and coffee plus oh so much more. Bon Appetite, enjoy the experience
