Blue Green Algae at Lake Charlegrark

Parks Victoria has re-sampled the water quality at Lake Charlegrark again this week on Monday 10th February.

The results confirm that toxic Blue Green Algae is still present at levels above the trigger to be considered a health risk for recreational water use.

We have now had Blue Green Algae confirmed present since at least January 2019.

The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning has advised the organisers of the Lake Charlegrark music festival of the presence of algae

Parks Victoria will continue to regularly re-test the water.
