Community Representative needed for Wimmera Mallee Tourism Board

Interested residents of West Wimmera Shire are invited to submit an expression of interest for the following position:

Community Representative to Wimmera Mallee Tourism (WMT) Board

Key attributes for this role are:

  • Passion and enthusiasm for tourism in the Wimmera region.
  • A demonstrated commitment to participation and consultation.
  • Availability to attend monthly Board meetings

The Community Representative will be appointed for a two-year term or up until the State Tourism Review. Council will provide reimbursement for travel costs as required. Other West Wimmera representatives to the WMT Board are the Business Development and Tourism Officer Tamee Mulraney and one Councillor. Attendance at WMT board meetings will commence following Council appointment.

Expressions of interest should include a one-page statement outlining the applicant’s interest in the position, and the attributes they would bring to the role.
