In response to community feedback, Council has begun the process of developing an Edenhope Playspace Masterplan, for the five current open play spaces located in Edenhope.

What is the Master Plan?

A master plan is a long-term comprehensive site plan which will guide future investment into the Edenhope Playspaces.

The project aims to produce a masterplan of development that:

  • Identifies the structural layout and appearance of the five Council outdoor playspaces in Edenhope.
  • Focuses on strategies to increase travellers on the highways to ‘stop and stay’ in the town.
  • Considers short term actions in addition to long term development aspects.
  • Consider the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Consider linkage to other play spaces both locally and regionally.
  • Considers the demographic of each playspace to ensure that all community members are represented
  • Provides a resource that council can use to source funding to develop playspaces in Edenhope.

The master plan will be created with community consultation, and we want to hear from you about what you would like to see in the play spaces of Edenhope.

The survey below has been designed to capture what you and your family love about playing in Edenhope, and what you would like to see in the play areas. The survey is open to all, and we encourage all members of your family to give feedback.

Consultation closes 5:00pm 31 January 2022.

What locations will be included in the Edenhope Playspace Masterplan?

  • Anne St Playground
  • Lake Wallace Foreshore
  • Lions Park Edenhope
  • Henley Park Edenhope
  • Apex Park Edenhope
