Renowned actors, John Wood, the Gold Logie Award-winning Australian actor best known for his performances in the TV series Blue Heelers, and John Voce, a British actor who has starred in Downton Abbey and Dr Who will perform this award-winning play.

Carpe Diem (pronouned kaa·pei dee·em) is a comedy that shines the light on mental illness in men and how essential it is to find supportive mates and professional services during traumatic life events.  Mr Wood plays stock agent John and friend to Nev (Mr Voce), a hardworking farmer battling depression in a fictional inland town.

This is a free event with funding provided by the Victorian State Government's Community Activation and Social Isolation Initiative (CASI).

The event commences at 6pm with a free barbecue followed by the performance. Outreach workers will be on hand to provide support for anyone in the community who is affected by issues explored in the play.

Tickets available via Eventbrite. Bookings are essential to assist with catering.
