Tourism advisory committee
We are looking for people to help shape tourism in the region.
The West Wimmera Shire Tourism Advisory Committee is looking for both business and community members to join the group. The committee will provide advice to Council about the future of tourism in the shire.
The committee will comprise a maximum of 11 people, and aims to include residents from Harrow, Dergholm, Edenhope, Apsley, Goroke, Kaniva, Serviceton and districts – provided there is interest expressed from residents in those locations.
Key attributes for this role are:
- Interest in tourism in West Wimmera Shire
- Passion and enthusiasm for creating new tourism opportunities in the region
- A demonstrated commitment to positive participation and consultation.
- Availability to attend committee meetings (will be held on a quarterly basis at a minimum).
