West Wimmera Shire Launches Innovation Platform

West Wimmera Shire is capturing community ideas through our new initiative the West Wimmera Shire Innovation Platform.

The West Wimmera Shire Innovation Platform is a tool to capture and develop the ideas of the community, visitors and staff. It is a place to get ideas and suggestions heard.

Ideas may involve ways to improve service delivery, stimulate economic growth, or to improve the West Wimmera Shire as a place to live.

Once submitted through the online form or in person thorough submission boxes located at the Council’s customer service centres in Kaniva and Edenhope, received ideas are taken to a monthly innovation committee meeting. Here they are discussed and evaluated, and appropriate further steps are considered.

The resulting innovative projects or business improvement will be direct results of the suggestions contributed by the community and collected by the West Wimmera Innovation Platform.
