Maternal and child health

The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) service provides free support for all families with children from birth to six years of age. Qualified MCH nurses offer health checks, parenting support, and immunisations to help monitor your child’s growth, development, and wellbeing. 

Clinics are available in Edenhope, Goroke, Harrow, and Kaniva. 

The service includes:

  • Antenatal and postnatal consultations
  • Key ages and stages visits
  • Immunisation sessions
  • Perinatal emotional health support 

Services operate Monday to Friday, with clinic hours shared across the four townships.
