Human Resource Manager

Are you a passionate and experienced HR professional looking for your next leadership challenge? West Wimmera Shire Council is seeking a Human Resource Manager to lead our HR function for a 12-month period. 
 
As Human Resource Manager, you will: 

• Oversee the full employee lifecycle, recruitment to performance management to training 
• Manage key HR functions including payroll, employee relations, and workforce performance 
• Provide expert advice on HR policy, industrial relations, and compliance 
• Lead strategic workforce planning  
• Champion a safe, inclusive, and high-performing workplace 

The successful candidate will have:  

• A degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience 
• Proven expertise in Human Resources and Industrial Relations, including an
• in-depth understanding of employment law and workplace policy 
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills
