When an emergency occurs it will affect different communities and different people in different ways. Council will work with all the other organisations to quickly develop an emergency recovery plan. This plan will outline all aspects of community recovery. Key information relating to the recovery effort will be posted on this website.

Recovery Progress
This section will be updated regularly to give you an overview about the recovery process and its progress after the current emergency. Since there are no emergencies occurring at the moment, the following links will give you some general information about recovery process and procedures.
If you have dealt with a stressful event you might find it helpful to talk it over with a local GP or with a member of the clergy. You might also find it helpful to contact a counselling or personal support service or a telephone help line.
