West Wimmera Shire Council is introducing new convenient and efficient methods for residents to receive and pay their rates.

Residents will be able to receive rates notices via email with eNotices, and payments are now more flexible too with FlexiPay.

With eNotices, residents can opt to receive future rate notices directly to their email inbox, rather than via post.

This secure method ensures that important notices are conveniently accessible and reduces paper usage.

Residents will also be able to view all their notices at any time, creating a hassle-free process for keeping track of important information.

To make the payment process even more flexible and convenient, Council is also introducing FlexiPay.

This feature will allow residents to easily pay their rates notice and set up a customised payment schedule that suits their financial preferences.

Residents can choose from weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or quarterly payment options, making it easier than ever to manage their budget.

Payments through FlexiPay can be made using either a credit card or a bank account, providing residents with a range of choices to suit their needs.

Chief Executive Officer David Bezuidenhout said Council wanted to make it as convenient as possible for people to pay their rates.

“With eNotices, we're reducing our paper usage while still ensuring that residents have easy access to their important rate notices,” he said.

“FlexiPay is designed to put residents in control of their rate payments, offering them the flexibility to choose a payment schedule that suits their financial preferences. We understand that everyone's circumstances are unique, and FlexiPay gives people more options.

“We encourage residents to take advantage of these new offerings.”

To register for eNotices or use FlexiPay, residents will need their unique eNotices Reference Number, which can be found at the bottom of their rates notice.

Our 2023-24 rates notices have now been mailed out and residents should receive them in the next few weeks.

If anyone doesn’t receive their notice, please contact Council on 13 99 72.
