West Wimmera Shire Council is seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to provide short‑term leadership and operational oversight across our frontline service functions.
This role is critical in ensuring continuity of high‑quality, customer‑centred service delivery during a period of transition.
Based across Kaniva and Edenhope, the Customer Service Manager will lead a multi‑skilled team, strengthen service standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the community’s experience with Council.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and managing frontline customer service functions
- Providing structured leadership, coaching and performance management
- Driving service improvements, innovation and operational efficiency
- Supporting internal stakeholders to streamline processes
- Contributing to strategic priorities as required
About you
You’re an experienced customer service leader with strong people skills, a steady hand, and the ability to quickly build trust and lift performance.
You bring a continuous improvement mindset, excellent communication skills, and confidence managing complex, multi‑channel service environments.
