Kaniva Kindergarten secures bush kindergarten program

Kaniva Kindergarten will introduce a Bush Kinder program in 2026 after securing new funding.
West Wimmera Shire Council has received $6,000 through the Victorian Government’s Bush Kinder Grants Program.
The funding will support the delivery of bush kinder sessions at the Kaniva Fauna Park during terms two and three.

Corella dispersal program to start in Edenhope

West Wimmera Shire Council will begin a corella dispersal program in Edenhope from next week as part of its corella management plan.
Scare guns will be used in the Henley Park area and near Lake Wallace and the Edenhope Lakeside Tourist Park during the late afternoon and early evening, when birds are most active before roosting.

Community Satisfaction Survey interviews to start

West Wimmera Shire Council is seeking information from residents about Council’s performance and community satisfaction.
Independent market research agency, Klein Research, is conducting a Community Satisfaction Survey on behalf of West Wimmera Shire Council.
During February and March households might receive a call inviting them to take part in the survey and share their views on Council services
