West Wimmera Shire Council is seeking a motivated and hands-on Team Leader- Parks and Gardens to help shape and maintain the natural and landscaped environments that our communities enjoy every day.
You will play an important role in delivering Council’s tree management and streetscape plans while leading the maintenance and enhancement of parks, gardens, streetscapes, public facilities and Council properties across the Shire. This is a diverse role that combines horticultural expertise, tree management, project coordination and practical outdoor work.
You’ll work closely with contractors, colleagues and the community to ensure our public spaces are safe, attractive and well maintained.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in parks, gardens, horticulture, arboriculture or landscape maintenance.
- Demonstrates strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering high-quality public spaces.
- Is committed to workplace safety and providing excellent customer service.
- Can confidently operate and maintain a range of plant and equipment.
