Community Satisfaction Survey interviews to start

West Wimmera Shire Council is seeking information from residents about Council’s performance and community satisfaction.
Independent market research agency, Klein Research, is conducting a Community Satisfaction Survey on behalf of West Wimmera Shire Council.
During February and March households might receive a call inviting them to take part in the survey and share their views on Council services and facilities.
The survey is anonymous and includes a range of questions designed to understand community perceptions of Council’s performance in delivering important services.
Similar surveys will be undertaken across Victorian councils in the coming months.
West Wimmera Shire Council Chief Executive David Bezuidenhout said the survey had been designed to assess the performance of the West Wimmera Shire Council across a range of measures.
“Through the survey, residents can provide feedback on what Council is doing right and what services are having a positive impact on our communities,” he said.
“We also use the survey to identify areas where service delivery can be improved.
“In last year’s survey West Wimmera has performed substantially better than other rural Councils, and the big effort by staff to be on top of our Council road network will hopefully again be reflected in the survey.
“We appreciate the community taking the time to assist us with this valuable feedback.”
Mr Bezuidenhout said all survey data, including personal details and individual responses, were confidential.
“Only the overall results will be shared with West Wimmera Shire Council,” he said.
Mr Bezuidenhout said anyone with any questions or concerns could call West Wimmera Shire Council’s customer service team on 13 99 72.
