Community Support Team provides cleaning products

West Wimmera Shire Council's Community Support Team is providing free-of-charge, a once only bag of cleaning products to Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Home and Community Care Program (HACCPYP) consumers who receive Domestic Assistance to help them clean their home.

Council is committed to providing a high standard of service to our CHSP and HACC PYP consumers while ensuring a safe work environment for our Community Support Workers.

Under Victorian Occupational Health and Safety Law, we must put in place all reasonable safeguards to guarantee the health and safety of our workers.

 

This includes providing workers with safe products and information about the chemicals they use to clean homes.

The cleaning products were bought locally.
