Residents and visitors are encouraged to take extra care on the roads and look out for one another during the Easter period and school holidays.
West Wimmera Shire Council has confirmed arrangements for a range of services across the long weekend.
CUSTOMER SERIVCE CENTRES – KANIVA AND EDENHOPE The Kaniva and Edenhope customer services centres will be closed from 5pm Thursday 2 April until 8.30am Tuesday 7 April 2023. For urgent Council matters during this time, the after-hours service will be available on 13 99 72.
TRANSFER STATIONS Transfer stations will be closed on Good Friday, but as open as usual on all other days. For a list of transfer stations and their opening hours, click here.
LOCAL LAWS Council’s after-hours service will remain available for urgent matters involving domestic animals or public safety. Please call 13 99 72.
LIBRARESClosed all public holidays
SUPPORTED PLAYGROUPS AND KINDERGARTENS
Closed for school holidays from Friday, 3 April. Term 2 will resume on Monday, 20 April.
