Goroke Sewerage Scheme Stages 2 & 3
GWMWater is pleased to advise that Stages 2 and 3 of the Goroke Sewerage Scheme Project will be progressing to tender in the coming weeks.
The Goroke Sewerage Scheme will provide residents with a reliable, and effective wastewater collection and treatment system.
We will be awarding a construction contract as soon as possible with works expected to be carried out in late 2023 and early 2024.
We have started sewer connection works for the Goroke Caravan Park to support upgrades to the septic tank system at the caravan park.
To find out more about this project, please come along to our community ‘drop-in’ information session held at:
Goroke Library
Friday 4 August
from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm
GWMWater, working with the West Wimmera Shire Council, is investing in Goroke to provide a sewerage system for the township.
This project will contribute to the prosperity and liveability of the township and encourages township growth. A sewerage system will reduce ponding of wastewater which can affect your health, your family and community’s health as well as the environment.
These works form part of GWMWater’s 2023-2028 Price Submission, which was approved by the Essential Services Commission in June and outlines planned upgrades for the next five years.
