Road naming to honour Kaniva nurse Published on 07 January 2025 West Wimmera Shire Council will name a Lillimur road ‘Zenda Lane’ in honour of a former Kaniva Maternal and Child Health Nurse.At a meeting last month, Council approved the naming of an unnamed road off D Hawkers Road in Lillimur to Zenda Lane, paying tribute to the late Mrs Zenda Hawker.Mrs Hawker lived on the property alongside the now-named Zenda Lane, where she raised her five children.
