Adoption of Local Law no.8 of 2020 – use of the common seal

 West Wimmera Shire Council adopted Local Law No.8 of 2020 – Use of the Common Seal at a Council Meeting held at 2.00pm on Wed 19 Aug 2020.

The purpose and general purport of the Local Law No.8 of 2020 – Use of the Common Seal is:

  1. Revocation of Local Law No.7 – Meeting Procedure and Use of the Common Seal.
  2. Regulation on the use of the Common Seal.
  3. Prohibition of unauthorised use of the Common Seal.

Local Law No.8 of 2020 commences operation on 1 Sep 2020 and ceases to operate on 31 Aug 2030, unless it is revoked sooner.

A copy of Local Law No.8 of 2020 may be inspected at Council’s Offices at 49 Elizabeth Street, Edenhope VIC 3318 and 25 Baker Street, Kaniva VIC 3419.
