Interested residents of West Wimmera Shire are invited to submit an expression of interest for the following position:
Community Representative to Indigenous Cricket Trail Project Control Group
Key attributes for this role are:
- Interest in the first XI Aboriginal Cricket Team that toured England in 1868
- Passion and enthusiasm for creating tourism opportunities in West Wimmera
- A demonstrated commitment to positive participation and consultation.
- Availability to attend monthly Project Meetings
Council has requested that a representative from Bringalbert, Harrow and Edenhope shall be on the committee and expressions of interested should identify what community the applicant wishes to represent along with a statement outlining the applicant’s interest in the position, and the attributes they would bring to the role.
The Community Representatives will be appointed by Council at the September Council Meeting.
