Local Government Election - Close of Rolls

Voter rolls for the 2020 Local Government Elections close at 4pm on Friday, 28 August.

 Voters who are entitled to be on the State roll for an address in the municipality can ensure their enrolment is up-to-date by checking at www.vec.vic.gov.au

Eligible voters not on the State roll for the municipality can apply to be enrolled for the local elections and can request enrolment forms at their local shire council office.

This includes: 

• Non-resident owners who bought a property since the last council elections
• Owners not otherwise on the State roll in the municipality, for example non-citizens
• Ratepaying occupiers in the municipality including commercial tenants
• Representatives of corporations who own or occupy rateable property in the municipality.
