On 19 August 2020 Council resolved to offer a new two-year contract to Mr David Leahy, commencing on 1 February 2021 and expiring on 31 January 2023, without advertising the position.
The remuneration package to be offered in the new contract is the same as Mr Leahy’s current remuneration package, which is $219,302.24.
If Mr Leahy accepts this offer, Council will sign and seal the new contract with Mr Leahy no later than Monday 21 September 2020, which is the day before the official Election Caretaker Period commences.
