Farmers in the West Wimmera region are invited to attend a free workshop in Kaniva focused on the relationship between farm emissions and productivity. As national and global businesses face new requirements to report on carbon emissions, farmers are increasingly expected to provide emissions data throughout the supply chain. This session will help primary producers prepare for a low-emissions future and identify practical ways to improve farm productivity while managing emissions.
The workshop will be presented by Dr Cass Schefe, a highly qualified soil scientist who works with farmers across Australia to understand their emissions profile and implement changes that benefit both the environment and farm performance.
