Now in its third year, the Community Farm Forum is a free, all-in event for farmers, families, and community members to come together for connection, conversation, and practical insights. Hosted by the Goroke Agricultural & Pastoral Society in partnership with Janmac Studs, the forum will feature a dynamic speaker line-up and finish with entertainment.
Speakers include:
Jack Owen – Western Victorian sheep farmer and author of You Are Not Your Farm, sharing reflections on identity, purpose and wellbeing in agriculture.
Simon Falkiner – Manager of Murdeduke Angus Stud and Board Member of Angus Australia, presenting on soil health, livestock genetics and landscape productivity.
Jeremy White – Senior Markets Manager at NAB, delivering a regional outlook on interest rates, commodities and managing market volatility.
Brett Hunter – Comedian and Let’s Get Rural ambassador, wrapping up the day with a laughter-filled performance focused on connection and mental wellbeing.
The forum includes lunch and plenty of opportunities to connect with locals and industry experts. Everyone is welcome.
