How to haiku

26 May 2026 A beginner-friendly poetry workshop exploring modern English haiku, led by Melbourne poet and playwright Louise Hopewell. Participants will learn how contemporary haiku uses imagery, juxtaposition and “aha moments” rather than traditional 5-7-5 structure. The session includes writing exercises, an introduction to senryu, and ideas for reading and sharing short-form poetry

Harrow Sound and Light Show 2026

10 Oct 2026 Step back into the 1850s with the Harrow by Night Sound & Light Show, a lively outdoor theatre experience based on the history of Harrow.
